Daily Prayers for Healing.
Praise the Lord
By Violette Blue, 20.06.2025
Praise the Lord is especially recommended before you leave the house to work, before bedtime, and before any other prayers. It’s a way to connect with God personally at a deeper level, like talking with someone you love and care for — just as God does with you. This simple act opens a direct line to His heart, reminding us that we are never alone and always held in His care.
So today, let us come before Him with full hearts, singing, “O our God, we thank you and praise your glorious name!” Because the Lord is great — “a great King above all gods.” And it’s right to honor Him with thanksgiving, now and forever. Amen.
Father who art in heaven, I give thanks to you. Thank you for everything you have done for me and my family until now. Your blessings have been countless — good health, guidance, protection — all gifts I don’t take for granted. Holy be Thy name. You are Lord of lords, King of kings, the Creator of all things.
The Bible reminds us of the power and beauty of praise. “I will praise you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things you have done.” This isn’t just a suggestion; it’s a way to live, to start each moment with gratitude. Because when we thank God, we recognize His hand in our victories — “But thank God! He gives us victory over sin and death through our Lord Jesus Christ.”
Even in the darkest times, He turns mourning into joy: “You have turned my mourning into joyful dancing. You have taken away my clothes of mourning and clothed me with joy, that I might sing praises to you and not be silent.” That joy is not something we create on our own; it’s a gift that fills us when we open our hearts to Him.
Our faith grows stronger when rooted in thankfulness: “Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness.” It’s in this overflow that peace finds us — “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand.”
To approach God’s presence with gratitude is a sacred act: “Enter his gates with thanksgiving; go into his courts with praise. Give thanks to him and praise his name.” His faithful love never ends: “Praise the LORD! Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever.”
Prayers for healing
God,
I come before you with an open and humble heart, seeking your healing and your grace. You know every part of me—the body that aches, the mind that struggles, and the spirit that longs for peace. I ask for your healing touch to restore my physical health and bring comfort to my emotions. Mend what is broken, soothe my worries, and fill me with your peace that passes understanding.
Lord, sometimes my faith feels weak, and I doubt the path ahead. Strengthen my trust in you, remind me of your unfailing love, and help me to believe that you are working all things for good, even when I cannot see it. Be my shield against any harm or wickedness that tries to shake me or those I love. Protect us with your mighty hand, surround us with your angels, and lead us in safety.
I confess my mistakes and shortcomings, asking for your forgiveness. Cleanse me from all wrongs and teach me to forgive others as you have forgiven me. Renew my spirit and guide me to live in your grace every day.
Thank you, God, for the abundant blessings you pour into my life. For your love that never fails, for strength in weakness, and for hope in despair. Help me to keep a grateful heart, recognizing your goodness even in the smallest moments, and to share that gratitude with others.
I hold onto your promises:
You heal the brokenhearted and bind up their wounds.
You are my shepherd; I lack nothing.
No weapon formed against me shall prosper.
You fight for me when I am still.
And you came so that I might have life to the fullest.
May your healing, protection, forgiveness, faith, and abundance fill my life completely. Amen.
God,
I come to you asking for healing—body, mind, and spirit. You see the pain and the struggles, the things I can’t always put into words. Please bring comfort where there’s hurt, strength where there’s weakness, and peace where there’s worry. Wrap your love around me and those I care about. Help me trust in the process, even when it’s slow. Give me patience, hope, and the courage to face each day.
Amen.
Prayer for Physical Healing
God,
You are the great healer. I ask that you touch my body and bring healing to every cell, every system, and every wound. Restore what’s broken, soothe what’s hurting, and give me strength to recover. Let your presence fill me with hope and energy. Guide my doctors and caregivers, and let your wisdom lead every decision.
Amen.
Prayer for Emotional Healing
God,
You know the burdens I carry and the pain I hide. Calm my anxious thoughts, mend my broken heart, and lift the heaviness from my spirit. Remind me that I am never alone. Bring peace where there is turmoil and light where things feel dark. Surround me with people who show your love and help me trust again.
Amen.
Prayer for Faith
God,
Sometimes my faith feels small and fragile. Help me to trust you, especially when I don’t understand. Remind me of your love and faithfulness, and give me the courage to believe that you are working all things for good. Grow my faith, day by day.
Amen.
Prayer for Protection Against Wickedness
God,
Be my shield and my protector. Keep me and my loved ones safe from harm, from those who wish us ill, and from anything that threatens our peace. Surround us with your angels, guard our hearts and minds, and lead us away from temptation. Let your strength overcome anything that tries to shake us.
Amen.
Prayer for Abundance
God,
You promise to provide for every need. I ask you to pour out your blessings—spiritually, emotionally, and materially. Let my life overflow with your goodness, and show me how to use what I have to bless others. Teach me to trust that there is always enough, and that your abundance is bigger than my fears.
Amen.
