Why do people fear God and Jesus Christ?

God is Good; Goodness is powerful; the Mirror to the Souls:
When people hear the word "God," they often feel a sense of fear and reverence. This fear is not necessarily a negative emotion but rather a recognition of the power and greatness of the divine being. It is a natural response to something beyond human comprehension and control.

One reason why people fear God is because of the reminder of natural disasters. Throughout history, humans have witnessed the destructive power of thunderstorms, hurricanes, earthquakes, and other natural phenomena. These events serve as a reminder of the immense power that God possesses. Just as we fear the destructive force of a storm, we also fear the power of God.


God is Omnipotent:

God is often described as omnipotent, meaning that he is all-powerful. He is the creator of all living beings, the universe, galaxies, stars, dark matter, dark energy, and black holes. The sheer magnitude of God's power is enough to inspire fear in anyone who contemplates it. It is a humbling experience to realize how small and insignificant we are compared to the vastness of God's creation.


The fear of God also stems from a sense of respect for his wisdom and supernatural abilities. God is often seen as a being of infinite knowledge and understanding. His wisdom surpasses that of any human being, and his ability to see the bigger picture is awe-inspiring.


Unique Personalities that intimidated others: Wisdom, Courage, Righteousness:

When we come across individuals who possess great inner strength, faith, and wisdom, we are often intimidated by their presence. In the same way, the presence of God can evoke feelings of fear and reverence in those who believe in him.


Ultimately, the fear of God is a complex emotion encompassing a mixture of awe, respect, and humility. It is a recognition of the power and greatness of the divine being and a reminder of our limitations as human beings. Why do people fear Jesus Christ?

Throughout history, Jesus Christ has been a figure that evokes both fear and love in people. Many fear Jesus's power and authority, while others are drawn to his message of love and compassion. One of the most powerful displays of Jesus' strength and love was shown on the cross, where he willingly sacrificed himself for the sins of humanity.


The act of selflessness that Jesus displayed on the cross is a testament to his love for everyone. Despite his pain and suffering, Jesus never wavered in his commitment to saving humanity. His sacrifice is a reminder of the power of love and the importance of putting others before oneself.


Satan, the ultimate symbol of evil and temptation, was no match for Jesus. Throughout his time on earth, Jesus overcame Satan's temptations time and time again. The Bible is filled with stories of Jesus resisting the devil's tricks and remaining steadfast in his faith.


Jesus spoke his authority as the son of God.

Matthew 4:10

Then Jesus said to him, "Be gone, Satan! For it is written, "You shall worship the Lord your God, and him only shall you serve."


Jesus' words and actions reassured his followers and believers that Satan had no chance against him. The authority that Jesus spoke with was undeniable, and his teachings have stood the test of time. His words are a law set for eternity, guiding believers in their faith and providing comfort in times of trouble.


In a world filled with darkness and uncertainty, Jesus' message of love and compassion shines brightly. His sacrifice on the cross serves as a reminder of the power of selflessness and the strength that comes from faith. Believe in the good, and good things will come to you. There was a time ever since I practiced meditation and prayers. I wanted to see, feel, and hear my guardian angels.
