What is higher self?

What is the higher self?

The higher self is your personal line to God. Everyone carries it in, but only a few realize it and believe in it.

As the name implies, they are themselves. The Higher Self is your divine spark in the heart, your share in the Divine. Everyone has a higher self, his sunbeam, which connects him with the great "gods of the sun."

Like a bridge, for many, that may sound quite fantastic, but only because they have not yet experienced a conscious connection. Where is the higher self? Some esotericists swarm with brilliant eyes from the universe as a creation inspired by divine love. The higher self in the own breast, however, this idea pushes big question marks on the forehead, "how, God in me !?" As if the human being were not part of the animated universe. At times, religious people also raise their eyebrows skeptically and prefer to see "their" God sitting far away in the sky.

However, Jesus plainly stated, "The kingdom of God is within you" (Lk 17,21), and "The kingdom is within and around you" (Logion 3 of the apocryphal Gospel of Thomas). The Christian church speaks here of the divine sonship but is not a big fan of this Gnostic view of their religious founder.

The Higher Self is a glowing heart in the heart-shaped prayer cloud, the love of God. The higher self and its love live in one's own heart. If it should burn through the heart, we must not leave it alone to the heavenly powers.

Not being aware of its higher self, though nothing could be closer, is reminiscent of a multi-version story of God. It goes something like this: After the creation of man, God thinks about where he might hide the key to heaven.

Finally, he chooses the human heart. Only then was he sure that man would only find the key once he was ready for heaven. Before that, he would seek somewhere else everywhere, first of all in his heart. A way of the heart and an amusing love story about self-blindness, but it has a lot of depth about the human way of love.

The heart of history indicates the right key to heaven, love. The lack of acceptance of our divinity has grave, efficient implications for anyone who goes on a spiritual path and cues lived spirituality. Our existing higher self does not arouse enthusiasm in you?

Quite rightly, you are probably wondering why neither you nor the rest of humanity can accomplish anything divine-hearted. Sure, many works hard in helping professions or strive for personal development, risking a few glimpses into their souls and practicing regular meditation or yoga exercise.

But who feels his divine spark in the heart and acts accordingly? Captured heart or higher self. How trapped is your higher self? No doubt we carry a divine spark and sunbeam in our hearts. But that does not say whether and how we perceive and live it.

Many have built a thick wall and sturdy barbed wire around their hearts. The wall comprises pain, fear, selfishness, one-sided analysis-thinking, and lack of trust in God. In other words, man lives his lower self or ego and feels no connection with the higher self.

The higher self is the definition of the soul. Who equates our higher self as the definition of the soul provokes misunderstandings. There are already two common meanings of the soul; both mean something quite different from the higher self.

On the one hand, we mean our feelings or the entire psyche with the soul and speak, for example. Of mental problems. The second definition understands the soul as our bodiless being: when dying, the soul leaves the body, goes into the hereafter, and will eventually be born again in a body.

The higher self does not correspond to either one or the other definition of the soul. The higher self is neither our psyche nor do we automatically become one with it without our body. Anyone who leaves the physical body when dying has an astral, mental, and causal body.

All these bodies surround your divine spark like subtle envelopes. Our higher self is that spark in the center of all bodies. You now know a basic definition, but it is only exciting: How to connect with the higher self, a contact, a communication?

Help, e.g., a specific meditation, and how do I know if it really is a connection to the higher self?
